Careers Calendar is a fantastic tool that facilitates streamlined strategic planning of events and engagement. The platform is also hugely useful as it connects communities, which is an invaluable aid for our widening participation agenda. This is a much-needed resource for all working in careers across the Education sector and I am very impressed with the functionality of the platform and the opportunities it brings.
The Careers Calendar is an excellent tool that will enable us to plan, manage, deliver and evaluate our careers events bringing the process into one digital space which will make everything so much more efficient. As Head of Careers, I can see how the tool will help all schools with inspiring students to engage more with career events of all shapes and sizes.
The Careers Calendar platform has been built to bring communities together. It enables schools to plan their events efficiently and for organisations to map their student and schools engagement. I can see how it will bring benefit to both parties and inevitably help students in understanding the range of opportunities available to them.
The platform provides VU Amsterdam with a strategic tool to plan our schools’ engagement efficiently. As an international university in the Netherlands, you need some guidance in finding the schools to engage with. I can see how this tool will make the landscape of events and opportunities clearer to both the students and us.
The principle of the careers calendar is obvious. Schools plan their events and organisations plan their engagement with the school. The platform removes barriers to engagement and helps both parties (universities and schools) provide careers information. That’s a good thing for students and a good thing for us at IED who want to access the right students. The Careers Calendar brings digital technology to a space that needs it most.
Finally – one place to connect school counsellors, university representatives and students in the UK! This platform will greatly improve our ability to find and select the right events, connect with school counsellors, and overall help promote our institution.
